Rory joined Madison Hunt in 2025 to lead the firm’s Asia-Pacific expansion and launch its Sydney office. With over 12 years of experience in Infrastructure and Energy executive search, Rory specialises in advising institutional investors, fund managers, and developers on leadership team appointments across core, core-plus, and energy transition Infrastructure .

His track record spans senior mandates in Investment Management, Structured Finance, and Corporate Advisory, as well as executive search across portfolio companies backed by private capital. Rory partners closely with PortCo boards to support CEO and C-suite selection, board composition, remuneration benchmarking, and the design of STI/LTI frameworks aligned to value creation and asset maturity.

Prior to joining Madison Hunt, Rory led the Energy Transition & Infrastructure practice of one of Australia’s longest-standing executive search firms. He previously held roles in London and Asia and began his career as a chemical engineer at Unilever before transitioning into executive search with a global firm.

He also brings frontline Energy Transition industry experience having co-founded a utility-scale BESS developer which was led to a successful exit and still remains a Board Director. The company’s flagship 400 MW project in NSW is expected to reach financial close in the coming months.

Rory holds a Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering with Business Management from the University of Manchester.
